Sonal Thakrar qualified at Pearson Lowe before moving to Charles Russell Speechlys, where she became a partner. She joined Mishcon de Reya in 2010 and has built up a diverse client base including overseas investors, HNWs, trustees and banks.

One client has described Thakrar as ‘the best real estate solicitor one can possibly bump into’. She credits such testimony to a ‘commercial eye that saves delicate transactions from falling apart’ and an understanding of ‘the challenges that the current market presents’.

Thakrar prides herself on an ability to think laterally and solve problems. ‘I get told that I always deliver without cutting corners,’ she says.
