Maria Patsalos, a partner in the immigration team at Mishcon de Reya, places human rights, equality, and anti-discrimination at the core of her practice.

She advises a range of private and corporate clients on issues such as spousal visas, sole representative applications and settlement routes. She aims to provide ‘innovative and bespoke solutions’ to HNWs seeking to spend time living in the UK and handles client cases within the skilled worker and global business mobility visa categories.

In 2021, Patsalos was awarded Human Rights Solicitor of the Year by the Law Society, recognising her passion for activism and social justice. Shedding light on the disparity of legal advice available to those in minority communities, she has also co-founded Pink Law, which specialises in LGBTQ+ legal advice, and the Black Justice Project, which acts on behalf of the Black community to combat discrimination.
