After a long stint at PwC’s legal services arm, Stuart Hatcher joined Forsters as a partner in its corporate team in 2020.

He is well known for his work with international start-ups, scale-ups and fast-growth companies, including family-owned and entrepreneur-led businesses. He advises these clients on matters relating to investment and shareholder activity, regulatory changes, M&A activity and group restructuring, as well as on the formation of family investment companies and employee trusts. 

‘Succession planning is an increasingly hot topic,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘We’ve had far more questions around family offices, family business, constitutions and shareholders’ agreements.’

According to Forsters, Hatcher’s hands-on approach, his network of qualified contacts and his personal touch have helped to contribute to his success. Outside of work, he is a member of the Brentford Football Club board.
