Natasha Rees is a senior partner at Forsters, acting for UHNW individuals, families and investors in complex disputes. She explains that her practice is focused on ‘very high-end residential property in prime central London’, with assets typically valued between £5 million and £25 million.

Rees is particularly known for contentious leasehold enfranchisement disputes and has been involved in high-profile cases, including acting for leaseholders in their nuisance case against the Tate Gallery, which reached the Supreme Court. She also manages residential litigation work for the Crown Estate and has represented major landed estates and international family offices. Many of her current instructions involve enfranchisement claims, as leaseholders ‘want to get on and make their claims’ amid ongoing reform, she says.

She has built strong relationships across the industry and often works closely with developers, property managers and financial institutions to deliver successful outcomes for her clients.
