‘All of my clients have an international angle,’ says Rosie Schumm, a partner in Forsters’ family law team.
Schumm’s practice covers all aspects of family law, but she has a particular specialism in high-value divorces involving complex financial structures such as trusts, family businesses or multi-jurisdictional assets.
Her clients include several A-list celebrities who bring with them a heightened need for discretion and privacy. It’s an aspect of her job that she enjoys: ‘It’s really exciting – we’ve cornered the market a bit and are working with some really interesting music stars, comedians, celebrities and actors, which is really fun,’ she tells Spear’s.
She also takes on private children law cases, particularly those involving children with disabilities or neurodivergence, inspired by her own personal experience. ‘I find I am able to empathise with [families] a bit more because I’ve got a child with severe disabilities,’ she explains.
