Guy Mawson, a bright senior associate at Forsters, is a member of the family law team.
Having started at Lee & Thompson, a media law-focused firm, Mawson then moved to Harbottle & Lewis as one of the team retained by Catherine Bedford when she transferred much of her family department there. He moved to Forsters in 2021.
He retains a consciousness of reputation management when working with high-profile clients. ‘If you have clients where there might be media interest, you make sure the right team is in place at the beginning to manage that,’ he said. ‘To provide the optimal service, you don’t just want to deal with the matter in hand but to think about wider issues.’
