Helen Marsh brings 20-plus years of experience to her role as a partner at Forsters, where she advises on all legal aspects of residential property. She tells Spear’s she has ‘a particular focus on high-value and complex cases’, including conveyancing, secured lending and landlord and tenant issues. She acts on a wide range of transactions for UHNWs, lenders and developers, with values frequently exceeding $100 million.

Marsh, who trained and qualified at Allen & Overy in 2005, worked at leading private client strongholds Boodle Hatfield and Farrer & Co before joining Mayfair-based Forsters in 2014.

She has been described by peers as ‘ludicrously knowledgeable’ and offers particular expertise in residential and mixed-use developments, advising on their set-up, legal structuring and drafting, as well as providing advice on the strategic sales issues across the scheme. Marsh also works closely with Forster’s tax team, as ‘all of my work comes with a lot of tax advice’, she explains.
