Daniel Ugur joined Forsters in 2017 as a partner in the private client department. He advises on issues relating to succession and governance planning, tax structuring and trusts.

As part of his role, he works closely with HNWs, families, family offices, trustees and beneficiaries. With such a varied client pool, his responsibilities are appropriately diverse, but his goal remains fundamentally the same: ‘I work with clients to understand their aims and objectives, and as a result put together efficient plans to achieve these.’

One area of focus is advising families from Asia — those who are either already based there or moving to the region. He has also developed expertise around family business succession, working with families to set up a plan and establish family governance measures.
