Rising fast within Kingsley Napley’s family department, Sarah Dodds is making her presence felt. Her work includes complex divorce and financial work, as well as private children cases.

She is particularly adept at preparing prenuptial agreements, as well as acting in relation to enforcement aspects. ‘A lot of my clients are “silver-splitters’,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘This involves us talking clients through the pension implications of divorcing later in life.’ 

One colleague speaks highly of Dodds’ work in the practice: ‘She is really building a name as a pensions expert in particular.’ She frequently advises, for example, on the portability of pensions, the recognition of orders made in different jurisdictions and their entitlement to reciprocity. 

Recent cases have included advising a HNW client marrying a US citizen and taking steps to ensure family wealth would be protected should they move to the US.
