Anthony Macpherson, head of the corporate, commercial and finance practice at Kingsley Napley, concentrates on the needs of private clients in respect to their business endeavours, family wealth planning and family investment companies.
He tells Spear’s: ‘A lot of my work involves acting for high-net-worth, entrepreneurial people on transactional matters. And that can often take the form of traditional corporate work – the buying and selling of owner-managed businesses or investments that they’ve made – but equally there’s an awful lot of it which is tied to the financing of those transactions.’
Macpherson and his network of experts – in and out of his own firm – find solutions for clients who include UK business leaders, including Lord Sugar, and members of Middle Eastern royal families.
