Renowned for her experience in aircraft finance, she started the London-based The Air Law Firm to get away from the usual stifling structures of large corporate firms. She says: ‘We needed to be able to respond to the industry without the usual restrictions of bigger firms. The firm’s focus is on value-added rather than billable hours, and that has proven to be the right approach. It took some very loyal clients and a push from industry friends to make it happen. We’ve not looked back.’
