For more than 35 years, property lawyer John Downing’s practice has focused on the prime central London property market, where he advises on residential property sales and acquisitions for a clientele which includes high-profile individuals from both the City and the entertainment industry. Downing has a breadth of experience in matters relating to property, and also advises on the acquisition of country estates, landlord and tenant matters and Stamp Duty, to name a few. 

Downing moved from Goodman Derrick to Keystone Law in 2020, bringing with him a number of clients, some of whom have stayed by his side for decades. The seasoned solicitor is well-known within the sector for having a pragmatic and clear approach to complex issues.
