Sakhjit Randhawa
Spear’s Review
Advising UHNW clients buying and selling super-prime and luxury properties in London or the countryside is at the core of Sakhjit Randhawa’s practice.
Randhawa was an equity partner at Charles Russell Speechlys, and built up a business alongside Ian Cooke for nearly 15 years before they both moved to Keystone Law. ‘I have the ability to focus on what I love to do – to look after our clients with a carefully structured and selected team to ensure we can offer the world-class personal service which our clients deserve,’ she tells Spear’s.
Randhawa and Cooke have successfully nurtured a high-profile client base, taking their role extremely seriously. ‘Each of us ensures that we drive every case personally, to provide the best possible service to our clients,’ Randhawa adds.
Adviser Profile
Sakhjit provides residential property law advice to clients – UHNW and other wealthy high-profile individuals, trusts and companies buying and selling prime, super prime and luxury properties in London and the English countryside. This role naturally requires her to travel extensively around the world to maintain and build her relationships.
She has jointly built and led the practice with her business partner, Ian Cooke, a recognised expert in the field. Together, as world-class partners, they bring extensive expertise, enabling their team to deliver exceptional service to clients with complex, time-sensitive property deals. They also advise several super prime London developers on sales of luxury apartments in ultra-luxury central London postcodes.
They handle complex, technical deals with tight deadlines, requiring diligence, efficiency and effectiveness to manage all aspects carefully and meet each client’s specific needs promptly and thoroughly.
Many of the instructions Sakhjit handles are of exceptionally high value and involve significant confidentiality. Orchestrating these deals requires coordinating private family offices, property agents, surveyors, top-tier tax advisers and private banks. Working efficiently and collaboratively with all involved is essential. This approach comes naturally to her and is one of her key strengths – she believes in building and maintaining excellent relationships.
Sakhjit’s aims for her clients are: 1. Ensure each individual is looked after to the highest standard regardless of property price; 2. Ensure client instructions are dealt with promptly and efficiently; 3. Avoid overcomplicating matters while maintaining full control of every deal; 4. Solve problems without worrying clients; 5. Handle all due diligence and structuring meticulously, efficiently and straightforwardly.
