James Bacon

James Bacon, who focuses on trusts, succession and tax, joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2006. He has since developed a large client base of landed estates, charities, trust protectors, beneficiaries, trustees, private clients and families based in the UK and abroad.
He frequently advises on matters such as contentious trust and estate work, succession law, estate planning and the commercial use of trusts, as well as Acceptance in Lieu practices. He is particularly known for his knowledge of the art world, which has notably brought him to work with inheritance matters related to collectible luxury assets.
