Charlotte Henshall of Payne Hicks Beach is a legal director in the firm’s dispute resolution department, where she specialises in Inheritance Act 1975 claims, contentious trusts and probate matters, and estate disputes. In the case of the latter, she is especially adept at dealing with disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
‘I really like the human elements of trusts,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘I trained in Guernsey and thought I wanted to be a family solicitor, but I ended up falling into contentious trusts, where you see the same family dynamics that attracted me to law in the first place.’
Henshall joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2018 after training as a paralegal at Ogier. She holds a first-class degree in law from the University of Hull.
