Susanna Stanfield heads the Cambridge office of the international law firm Withers, which she joined in 2018, having accrued more than 20 years’ experience in the legal sector.
She is particularly well versed in advising high-growth companies and investors in the life sciences and technology sectors. She acts on behalf of a number of companies and research institutions, such as the University of Cambridge and Imperial Innovations, helping them to commercialise their scientific discoveries and technology.
Stanfield believes that Withers’ recent expansion to Boston was a good move, since ‘many of our clients in Cambridge also have connections with Boston, and by joining up with our new team of expert life sciences attorneys, we can help them to expand their businesses’.
