Few understand the City of London and the executives that occupy it quite as well as Withers partner Elaine Aarons, one of the ‘founding mothers’ of the employment law field, according to the book First: 100 Years of Women in Law, which charts a century of women in legal practice.
More than 95 per cent of her clientele are senior executives from FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 constituents, major banks, hedge funds and financial services boutiques; she is also an expert in handling private equity houses and private equity-backed businesses.
Aarons has worked at Withers for nearly 20 years and in 2017 co-founded One Loud Voice for Women, which seeks to end gender inequality in the workplace.
