Spear’s Review
Jeremy Rollason started his career as a land agent, looking after Cambridge University land holdings. ‘I quickly realised fixing loo seats in tenanted estate cottages was not my calling,’ he said with a laugh. He joined Savills in the early 1990s ‘amid a mini recession’.
He co-founded a leisure desk in London in 1998 focusing on global property and, since 2005, the Alps. His role today, as director and head of Savills’ ski property business, is to expand the firm’s offering in the mountain ranges of France, Switzerland and Austria. Offices in places such as Zell am See, Verbier, Méribel, Courchevel and Morzine have established Savills as a key player in the ski market.
‘I like to think that I give up-to-date, impartial but frank advice to clients pertaining to their property assets,’ he said of his approach.
