Mark Ridley
Spear’s Review
Mark Ridley, group chief executive of Savills, brings almost 30 years of commercial, residential and rural property experience to his role, having joined the global real estate services provider in 1996.
He was made chairman of Savills Commercial in 2008, CEO of Savills UK in 2013 and CEO of Savills Europe in 2014. In 2018, he joined the Savills board and was appointed deputy group chief executive; he has served as group CEO since 2019 following the retirement of Jeremy Helsby.
He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation and a member of the British Property Federation’s Leadership Forum.
Still client-facing, Ridley plays an active role in helping Savills navigate the forces shaping real estate across the world.
