For Stephen Lindsay, who leads Savills’ St John’s Wood office, success is when he can give clients ‘the best service possible and achieve the highest price for their property’.  Lindsay also aims to make the process ‘fun’, he tells Spear’s. ‘What sets me apart from everybody else is that I love my work.’

The property agent has worked in the industry for more than 30 years. A pivotal moment of his career was advising Anil Varma (of property developer Harrison Varma) on the sale of Buxmead, where he closed the last 11 apartments for a total of more than £50 million. 

‘It was an incredible transaction in every regard,’ he notes. ‘There is no one else who has sold as many houses north of £10 million in north-west London as me.’
