Under his guidance, Savills has grown its private office team to 28 people globally, with 14 based in the UK.
His enviable understanding of London’s most sought-after properties has resulted in a loyal client base. He says: ‘Clients tend to use me time and time again, and much of my client base originates from from personal referrals.’

Alex cites the strength of the relationships he has as being central to his role. ‘Our clients look to us to create opportunities for them; whether that’s getting them through the door of a property that isn’t on the market or utilising our black book of contacts to source a buyer for their home. They count on us to deliver, and we do our very best to do so every single time.’
Reflecting on the current market, he acknowledges: ‘What we are seeing is buyers taking a “belt and braces” approach when it comes to a purchase, and selling in this market requires pragmatic “open for business” pricing. As well as turnkey properties, the once-in-a-generation opportunities are proving popular – people are drawn to what they perceive to be an exceptional purchase and a legacy asset.
