Simon Phillips

Simon Phillips heads up Barclays Private Bank & Wealth Management’s operations in the Crown Dependencies and serves as Jersey country manager. In this capacity he oversees the bank’s retail banking services as well as the fiduciary, corporate and family office divisions of the business on the island.
In addition to Phillips’ country management responsibilities, he heads up the strategic development of Barclays’ captive insurance team, which provides banking, credit, investment and trust solutions across the key global captive insurance jurisdictions of Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and onshore US.
Phillips joined Barclays in 2006 following nearly a decade at RBS in London, Jersey and the Isle of Man.
