Head of emerging Europe and the Middle East at Barclays, Geneva-based Toghrul Gahramanzada sees himself as ‘a generalist who can mobilise the necessary team within the bank to help my clients meet their particular objectives’.

He initially started as an UHNW banker, but since 2017 has funnelled his skills into heading a team that looks after an impressive client base, often with complicated and multi-jurisdictional assets. ‘The source of our clients’ wealth is typically Europe, but they themselves are typically global citizens,’ Gahramanzada says.
