Managing director Daniel Revell heads up Barclays Private Bank’s Middle East and North Africa team, which has deep roots in the region and aims to be a long-term partner to wealthy individuals, businesses and family offices there. 

Having worked through the financial crisis of 2008 and the Arab Spring of 2010 to 2012 (as well as through ongoing unrest in the region), he has witnessed firsthand the volatility of this particular market. His work, therefore, comes with a specific set of challenges, which, after more than 15 years in the role, Revell is qualified to meet.

Revell is convinced that volatility in the region need not translate into volatility for his clients’ wealth, and he is committed to protecting it through robust structuring and expert stewardship.
