Babor Hussain co-founded Barclays’ strategic partners team in the UK, which specialises in advising private equity professionals, venture capitalists and founders of high-growth companies. According to the bank, he is ‘an exceptional leader’ who is responsible for bringing in considerable revenue to its UK private banking operations. The team he oversees has an AuM that has exceeded the £2 billion mark since its inception and works with a range of clients from UHNW individuals to C-suite executives and family offices.

Hussain is experienced across the fields of wealth structuring, investment management and private banking, as well as equity markets and cross-border tax planning. He began his career at NatWest’s institutional arm before joining Barclays in 2006 as a private banker and co-head of its financial institutions group.
