Spear's Review

Barclays veteran David Treen comes highly recommended to Spear’s, with one peer describing him as ‘the person of the year in banking’. He has been with the banking giant since 2012 and reports a client book with around £2 billion in assets under management. 

Now serving as managing director, the private banker’s areas of expertise lie primarily in asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment strategy. He works with a range of clients, from family offices and UHNW individuals to charities and foundations, that need help structuring their finances in the best way possible.

He previously served as a client relationship manager at AllianceBernstein, where he worked for nearly four years. Treen is a chartered financial planner and a chartered alternative investment analyst.
