Commercial and criminal litigator Henry Watkinson, an associate in Payne Hicks Beach’s dispute resolution team, says he is comfortable with taking on the bulk of many cases himself.

After previously working in recruitment, he is relishing the work his position brings, acting for individuals and corporate clients under investigation by the full range of UK authorities and regulators. ‘The variety of work and interesting clients that come along with criminal law – it was an opportunity that I couldn’t really turn down,’ he says.

Watkinson has worked with some of the firm’s key clients across civil and criminal law, often supporting colleague Mark Jones within the defence and investigations team.
