Emma Harris rose to partner from qualification in just 12 years, joining Payne Hicks Beach from Brachers in Kent in 2020 and becoming a partner in 2022.
Her work spans inheritance planning, lifetime tax strategies and pensions, helping clients think ahead and adapt to changing legislation. ‘We tend to administer estates involving people with assets across all of the world. So we’re navigating a changing environment and finding different things that work for different people to help them get to the goal they want to get to.’
It’s meant that Harris tends to develop close relationships with clients, many of whom are billionaires, international aristocrats and families with interests in multiple jurisdictions including Monaco, the UK and the Middle East.
