Alex Verdan KC left 4PB in September 2025 to join Stewarts as partner and head of the children practice.
He is widely regarded as one of the top silks for private children work and complex cases, namely those involving allegations of abuse, arrangements disputes and international relocations. The seriousness of these cases is not lost on Verdan. ‘You need quite a unique skill set, because you’re dealing with something so important,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘What people say about me is that I’ve got the mixed skill set to deal with it: kind and sympathetic, but also professional and detached.
