Nick Stone is a partner within Wedlake Bell’s residential property team.

Stone specialises in complex and high-value property transactions for private individuals and investors who come from all over the world to own a piece of prime central London. ‘I often say that buying a property should be straightforward, but because a lot of our clients are international and because [transactions] are often quite quick in terms of time frames, there is a lot of pressure that comes into the transaction,’ including added complexities to do with tax advice, he tells Spear’s.

Stone therefore ensures he is available, empathetic and aware of the bigger picture. ‘More often than not, clients just want to know that you’re there whenever they need you,’ he says.
