Head of the residential property team in Trowers & Hamlins’ Exeter office, partner Emma Sear specialises in residential real estate transactions, acting for private individuals, lenders, investors, developers, tenants and landlords. She has particular experience in residential conveyancing, including assisting and advising international clients (notably those from the Middle East) on their UK property investments. 

Sear frequently acts for HNWs, families and offshore trusts on the sale and purchase of properties in prime central London and the south west. She remains highly connected within residential property circles, including organising and hosting the firm’s residential breakfast forum (both in London and Exeter).

Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins in 2012, she worked for Maxwell Winward LLP, which became part of Mills & Reeve following a merger in 2017.
