Jenny Cutts is a highly regarded private client lawyer and partner at Wedlake Bell. She specialises in advising clients on wealth protection strategies through inheritance tax planning, will drafting and the creation of trusts. 

Cutts works for a range of clients: ‘I look at generational wealth, where I’ve been acting for some clients for my 20 years here in London,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘But, the other half of my practice is working for entrepreneurs, and that is a whole mixture of different people involved in shipping, construction and finance.’ Her approach to the latter clients is guided by ‘preserving the created wealth and making sure it becomes generational wealth’.  

She also acts as an executor for her deceased clients and as a trustee for family trusts. She has written about legal developments in both the specialist and broadsheet press.
