Alasdair Pritchard, a partner in Knight Frank’s private office team, advises a wide range of HNW clients and families on where to invest in property around the world.

For Pritchard, it’s a position that’s both humbling and rewarding. ‘When I look at who some of my clients are, their profiles and where they stand on a global stage, it’s quite heart-warming to think they’ve put a lot of trust in me,’ he says. ‘I’ve been their first port of call for advice.’

Pritchard’s willingness to listen to clients and understand what they want sets him apart. ‘It’s too easy to sell them what they “think” they want,’ he explains, ‘but I’ve found great trust from clients in actually making them think twice.’ The method works: half of his client base are referrals from happy customers.
