Rory Penn is head of residential sales at Knight Frank and co-chair of the firm’s global private office.

Working alongside Thomas van Straubenzee and Paddy Dring, Penn advises and transacts for international UHNW clients across the prime residential and commercial property markets.

When asked how he organises his teams to provide a more welcoming buying experience, the Spear’s 2022 Property Adviser of the Year explains how everything is managed on ‘one database, and it’s the only way it can be’.

Knight Frank teams in major cities across the world have databases of important buyers and sellers that can be shared internally, and agents work hard not to step on each other’s toes. ‘That’s how you provide joined-up advice,’ Penn says.
