Henry Faun, head of Knight Frank’s Middle Eastern private office, is a property agent for the modern age. In an industry that has benefitted vastly from the influence of social media, Faun frequently appears on his agency’s Instagram page, promoting some of London’s most exclusive homes to Middle Eastern buyers. Impressively, his videos are filmed in Arabic, a language he learned after spending 10 years in the UAE.
Faun notes that one complex part of his work is navigating the intricate family structures of Middle Eastern families. He tells Spear’s: ‘A family can begin with two or three individuals, but by the third generation I am dealing with 25-plus people. In order to deliver on transactions, I need to get agreement among all of the family members.’
