Adrian Jones, a managing director at UBS, oversees a team of client advisers with £5.1 billion in assets under management.

His discerning client base is mainly successful entrepreneurs and high-profile media or sports personalities. These individuals make large amounts of money in a short period and need specialist support to invest and preserve their wealth. ‘I've got a lot of experience helping people understand what the wealth landscape looks like,’ Jones tells Spear’s. 

Before joining UBS in 2018, he spent three decades at Coutts, where he carried out roles in the commercial and, later, private banking teams. His most important learning? ‘Lead with advice,’ Jones says. ‘I attempt to work in partnership with clients and fully understand what’s important to them; that’s how I am able to work out how best to support them.’
