Tom Hall serves as global head of social impact and philanthropy services for UBS, as well as CEO of the Optimus Foundation, the bank’s grant-making foundation. With many years of experience in the charity and philanthropy sector, Hall is well equipped to advise the business leaders, celebrities and family foundations who come to UBS for guidance.

In addition to providing advice, Hall and his team are able to execute clients’ plans, by directly supporting causes and by recommending causes that they have researched and completed their due diligence on. ‘Over the last five years alone, we have had almost $1 billion allocated to [causes] that we recommend,’ reports Hall.
