Nathalie Woolcock describes herself as Argentine with ‘a bit of a Brazilian heart’ – and that knowledge of Latin America shapes everything about her practice at UBS, where she has worked since 2022 as an executive director and client adviser.

Her path to private banking was unusually well-rounded. She began her career in trust administration before moving into stockbroking at Brewin Dolphin. That grounding in trust structures – rare among wealth managers – gives her an edge when it comes to the complex affairs of UHNW families. ‘Having that understanding on the trust side of things; it’s handy to have conversations and troubleshoot,’ she says. Fourteen years at HSBC Private Bank followed, where she rose to director level, before she joined UBS.

STEP-qualified and fluent in four languages, Woolcock has spent two decades cultivating the kind of trust that generates its own returns. ‘My best referrals haven’t come from lawyers and accountants,’ she says. ‘They’ve come from my clients.’
