A former private banker at Barclays, Pedro Dias Ferreira was recruited to Goldman Sachs in 2021 as part of the bank’s expansion of its UK private banking operations. He specialises in advising clients from Latin America.
‘The UK is a highlight for our endeavour to grow the business,’ Stefan Bollinger, then the bank’s co-head of private wealth management for EMEA, said at the time of Dias Ferreira’s move.
With broad expertise in wealth structuring and financial planning, Dias Ferreira supported a range of Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking wealthy families during his previous 11-year tenure at Barclays. In his spare time, Dias Ferreira has volunteered as a special constable for the Metropolitan Police to give back to what he calls ‘the greatest city on Earth’.
