Darren Allaway originally joined Goldman Sachs in 1998; he subsequently spent time at UBS, where he was a managing director and founding member of the Swiss bank’s global family office group. He returned to Goldman in 2019 and currently works as a managing director within Apex, the firm’s dedicated family office coverage team. 

Given his experience advising international single- and multi-family offices in structured finance transactions as well as portfolio and investment decisions, it’s natural territory for the seasoned adviser.

With dedicated coverage of around 500 families globally, Apex helps its clients invest directly in private markets, providing them with ‘bespoke private transactions and investment opportunities’; advising them on how to best deploy and grow their capital; and connecting them with other experts within the bank.
