Clement Hutton-Mills joined Goldman Sachs in 2021 as part of a large expansion of the bank’s private wealth team in London. The former Rothschild & Co managing director and Oxford graduate prides himself on taking what he describes as a ‘proactive’ approach, paired with an ability to explain complex investment concepts in ‘straightforward’ language. 

‘I aim to be reassuring – and to be the person clients turn to first when considering their overall portfolio, as well as for broader advice including any financing requirements,’ he says. He also spends a considerable amount of time with each of his clients to ensure they are ‘comfortable with the approach being adopted at all times’. 

The Spear’s Award-nominated wealth manager says that the earlier years of his career, which he spent supporting clients amid the fallout from the 2008 financial crisis, were highly formative.
