Spear’s Review

Lucy da Gama Campos runs Goldman Sachs’ private wealth management division in the Middle East and North Africa, overseeing relationships with UHNW families and family offices within the region. She has been working at the private bank since 2019, and assumed the role of head of its wealth management activities, family office division and client strategy in 2024.

That year she told CityWire that she has seen increasing interest in private markets from wealthy families and family offices – particularly in private equity and private credit. ‘Investors are seeing double-digit return opportunities [in private credit] and while levels may eventually be impacted by rate cuts, they are still seen as attractive on a risk-adjusted basis,’ she said.

Earlier on in her career, Da Gama Campos, who studied law at UCL, worked as an associate at Deutsche Bank in London.
