Oliver Patterson

An executive director at Goldman Sachs, Oliver Patterson heads up the multinational investment bank’s private wealth management offering in the UK, providing a bespoke investment service to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations. His promotion in 2021 has coincided with an expansion of the firm’s private wealth business in Europe.

Patterson has worked at Goldman for over two decades, joining as an analyst in the early noughties before serving as chief financial officer in the EMEA private wealth team and most recently as the bank’s head of client and relationship managers. 

Patterson, who is multilingual, has a degree in French and Italian from the University of Manchester.
