As regional managing partner of Irwin Mitchell’s Chichester office, Paula James works with clients to resolve disputes relating to wills, estates and trusts. She frequently advises both individual beneficiaries and professional trustees, specialising in disputes over distribution of assets, property ownership and the validity of wills.

‘I am also an expert in disputes involving the affairs of the elderly and vulnerable, including financial abuse cases,’ she says. ‘Where previous advisers – financial or legal – have made mistakes, I can assist in the rectification of the situation and any claim for compensation.’

James is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and the Chichester and District Law Society.
