Emma Jordan

Spear's Review

As partner at Stephenson Harwood, Emma Jordan's practice encompasses civil fraud, asset tracing and recovery within the context of offshore trusts and structures.

She has a particular focus on representing trustees and high-net-worth clients, and encourages alternative dispute resolution – including mediation – when appropriate.

Jordan's cases often involve a cross-border or international element, and she has been involved in precedent-setting litigation, such as the 'Z Trust' case, which provided clarity on what happens when a trust becomes insolvent, and the entitlement of a former trustee to the assets of that trust.

Dual qualified as an English barrister and a Jersey advocate, Jordan is also able to represent clients in the Jersey courts.
