Jordan Ellis is a partner at Stephenson Harwood, specialising in international estate and tax planning.

After training at London-based firm Trowers & Hamlins, Ellis found himself increasingly working with families from the Middle East, advising on their inward investments to the UK and related tax structuring. 

Since relocating to Dubai in 2018, he has continued to work with UHNWs on family governance, and on establishing and maintaining their trusts. Alongside this, he has developed a growing practice handling UK non-doms looking to relocate.

‘When I first moved out here seven years ago, there weren’t many options for people to relocate, and it was a much more transient place,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘Now people can move here and stay long term; the healthcare is great, there’s a good education system, and you can set up a foundation, trust or business really easily.’
