Jenny McKeown is Stephenson Harwood’s global head of private wealth, responsible for teams in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Paris and London.

With a wealth of experience in contentious trust disputes, she acts for trustees, beneficiaries, corporates, financial services firms, financial institutions, insurers and private individuals. Her specialisms range from advising on technical areas of rectification and construction of trust documentation to applications for disclosure of information and seeking to hold trustees to account.

‘The biggest increase in my practice is the partitioning of trusts,’ She tells Spear’s. ‘Partitioning can be spurred on by next-generation disagreements, death, incapacity of a settlor or the family just wanting to divide it up and do their own thing.’

McKeown has acted on disputes in a number of jurisdictions, including England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Hong Kong.
