Spear’s Review

‘I have over 30 years’ experience in private client practice, advising individuals, families and trustees on tax and succession planning,’ Hunters partner Mary Elliott tells Spear’s. Through this work, she says, she has gained extensive knowledge of wills and complex trust structures.

Elliott has also acted in Variation of Trusts Act 1958 applications, both for claimants and defendants, including Court of Protection applications. In all these cases, she says, her priority is to understand as much as possible about the individuals and families she acts for.

Outside her private work, she advises, and is a trustee of, grant-making charities.
