A tax and estates specialist, Julia Lewis qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and worked at Farrer & Co before joining May, May & Merrimans as partner in 2007. In 2015, the firm merged with Hunters, where Lewis became a partner in the private client team.

She has significant tax and trusts experience, with a particular expertise in estate planning, landed estates and heritage property, and has advised on wills, powers of attorney, probate and estate administration for HNW entrepreneurs, business executives and landed families. She works closely with other senior lawyers across the firm, advising on probate in particular.

She is an active member of the Westminster & Holborn Law Society, is a keen golfer and cyclist, and is passionate about supporting individuals suffering from dementia.
