Vernor-Miles specialises in high-value and complex property transactions, including those involving landed estates and agricultural property.

Having qualified in 1997, Vernor-Miles joined Hunters as a partner upon its merger with Vernor-Miles & Noble in 2011.

James is head of Hunters’ residential property department, as well as being a member of the firm’s management committee. He specialises in residential property and landed estates work, advising on transactions ranging from first-time purchases and small flats to high-value homes, vast rural estates and their surrounding grounds, and development land.

James also has extensive experience supporting charity trustees and commercial property clients on the sale, purchase, lease and development of their land. His clients include HNW and UHNW individuals, investors, agricultural landowners, trustees, charities, professional practices, and private home buyers and sellers.
